Description

We stock the Meli as an 11W LED track head in matt black aluminium for low-voltage 48V track. It gives 810 lumens of warm 3000K light through a 60 degree beam, and the integrated LED is built into the housing, so there is no separate bulb to buy. It runs on a 48V AC rail rather than direct mains, which makes it part of a modular track system rather than a standalone fitting.

We use heads like this to build up light along a single run, whether that is even downlighting across a kitchen or a line of accent light over a display, a workspace or a hospitality area. Because each head fits the same 48V track, you can add or reposition them along the rail to suit the room, and the 60 degree beam keeps the light contained enough for task areas without spilling too wide.

The housing is aluminium with a 90 CRI output, so colours, fabrics and finishes read accurately under it, which matters in retail, gallery and home settings alike. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, and it is not dimmable. You will need a compatible 48V track and driver to run it, as it cannot be wired straight to the mains.

Does this fit standard mains track?

No. The Meli runs on a low-voltage 48V AC track system, not direct mains, so you will need a compatible 48V track and driver to power it. It is designed to sit alongside other heads on the same rail.

Is it dimmable?

No. This head is not dimmable, so it runs at a fixed 810 lumens of warm 3000K light. If you want to vary the level in a space, we would light it in zones rather than dim the fitting itself.

Do I need to buy a bulb?

No. The 11W LED is integrated into the housing, so there is no separate bulb to fit or replace. You just add the head to a compatible 48V track.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. The Meli is rated IP20, which means dry indoor use only. It is not protected against moisture, so we would not recommend it for a bathroom, a covered outdoor area or anywhere it may get damp.
