Description

The Knightsbridge matt brass bezel is a snap-fit accessory ring for the BT14 range of 14W LED bulkheads. The bezel measures 315mm in diameter with a 45mm projection from the wall or ceiling, and is moulded from polycarbonate finished in a brushed matt brass effect that mimics the appearance of satin brass metal at a fraction of the weight.

Designed to retrofit onto existing white BT14 bulkhead bases without re-wiring, the bezel clips over the standard white polycarbonate trim and transforms the appearance from utilitarian white to a warmer metallic finish suited to hotel corridors, heritage buildings, residential hallways and commercial lobbies where the functional bulkhead is specified but a traditional or period-appropriate finish is required. The bezel is compatible with all BT14 variants including emergency, sensor, dimmable and CCT-adjustable models.

The polycarbonate construction resists impact and UV degradation better than painted metal bezels, and the matt finish hides minor surface marks and fingerprints that would show on polished brass. The bezel adds no additional depth to the bulkhead's backplate — the 45mm projection is the depth of the bezel ring itself, so total wall projection remains the same as the standard BT14 once the bezel is clipped on. The matt brass tone pairs well with other warm metal finishes in a space and provides visual continuity where satin brass or antique brass door hardware, light switches or handrails are already specified.
