The Matices is a 200mm blown glass globe pendant finished in a grey smoke tone, suspended from a matte white ceiling rose on a height-adjustable cable. An integrated 4W LED inside the globe provides 340lm of warm 3000K light, diffused through the smoked glass to cast soft ambient illumination without harsh glare.

Designed for hallways, kitchen islands, bedside positions and reading corners, the Matices works as a single pendant over a side table or in a series of two or three over a breakfast bar or console. The 200mm diameter suits ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, and the cable adjusts from 50cm to 200cm drop during installation, allowing the pendant to sit at the right height above furniture or floor level. The matte white canopy and cable contrast with the reflective glass surface, reinforcing the minimalist, monochrome aesthetic.

The grey smoke finish on the blown glass gives the globe a subtle metallic sheen under daylight that deepens when the LED is switched on in the evening. Is the Matices dimmable?

What height should the pendant hang?

For bedside or side-table use, the base of the globe typically sits 400-600mm above the table surface. Over a kitchen island or breakfast bar, 700-900mm above the worktop is standard. The cable adjusts from 50cm to 200cm drop to suit different ceiling heights.

Can the smoked glass be cleaned?

Yes. Wipe the glass globe with a soft, dry microfibre cloth when the pendant is switched off and cool. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, followed by immediate drying to avoid water spots.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Matices to dry indoor locations only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, wet rooms, or outdoor covered areas where moisture is present.
