The Marrindale is an extra large geometric frame chandelier, built as an open metal cage with angled bars that cross over one another. Four lamps sit inside the frame rather than below it, so light passes through the structure and casts a soft geometric pattern across the ceiling and the nearby walls. The natural finish leaves the metalwork warm and lightly aged instead of polished, which suits the open, architectural shape. The drop adjusts from 1090mm to 2580mm, so this ceiling light can hang low over a table or sit closer to a standard ceiling, and at 9.6kg it is a substantial fitting.

We would hang it where there is height to play with: an open plan living room, a double height hallway, a stairwell, or above a long dining table where the frame reads well from every seat. Because the lamps are exposed inside the cage, it works best in rooms where you want visible bulbs as part of the look. It is a good choice if you like pared back industrial shapes but want warmer metal than black.

The frame is metal throughout in a natural finish, with the bars fixed into a rigid geometric shell.
