Description

We stock the Maris as a three light pendant that suspends three cylindrical shades from a rectangular black metal bar canopy on adjustable cables. Each shade is built from sliced natural shell pieces overlapping around a metal frame, so the surface glows a warm honey tone when lit. It takes three E14 bulbs up to 6W each (18W in total), which are sold separately.

We designed this one for kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars, where the three drop layout spreads the light along the length of the bar rather than pooling it in a single spot. The black canopy, cable sheathing and shade frames give a neutral backdrop that lets the warm shell tones stand out, and the cables adjust on installation so you can set the drop height to suit your ceiling and the surface below.

Because the shell is a natural material, every shade patterns slightly differently, so no two show identical tone or variation. The shell also diffuses the light from the E14 bulbs into a soft ambient glow rather than a direct downlight. It runs on 220 to 240V AC and is rated IP20 for indoor use, and it is not dimmable.
