Description

The MAGfire replacement pull cord is a spare or replacement assembly for the UDTAKIT assistance alarm module, consisting of a red braided nylon cord, two red triangular plastic handles and a magnetic safety coupler. The cord is designed to be pulled in an emergency to activate the assistance alarm beacon fitted in accessible toilets, changing rooms and care facilities.

The triangular handles provide a grip surface for users with limited dexterity or grip strength, and the red colour coding makes the pull cord immediately recognisable as an emergency call point. The magnetic coupler allows the cord to detach safely if excessive force is applied, preventing injury from falls or entanglement while still allowing the alarm to be triggered by a deliberate pull.

This assembly is compatible only with the MAGfire UDTAKIT pull cord module and is not a universal replacement for other assistance alarm systems. The cord is supplied with both handles and the magnetic coupler pre-fitted, allowing it to be installed as a direct replacement for a worn, damaged or missing pull cord without needing to source individual components.
