Description

The MAGfire DR916-24 is a 24V DC 2A boxed power supply designed for fire alarm electromagnetic door holders and automatic door release systems. The unit converts 230V mains to regulated 24V DC output, housed in a white ABS plastic box with a wall-mount plate and a compact form factor measuring 105mm x 105mm x 110mm.

Designed for commercial fire alarm installations where electromagnetic door holders need a dedicated power supply independent from the main fire panel, the MAGfire pairs with 24V DC mag-lock door holders rated up to 48W total load. The boxed housing protects the transformer and circuitry from dust and accidental contact during maintenance, while the wall-mount plate allows surface fixing to walls or inside plant cupboards close to the door location.

The 2A output capacity handles a single high-holding-force door holder or multiple lower-rated units wired in parallel. The white ABS casing blends into typical building service areas and the compact 105mm-square footprint means it can be tucked into ceiling voids, cupboards or behind door frames where mains power is available. The unit includes a screw cap for cable entry and exit.
