Description
The LYYT 960 LED string lights comprise 960 individual cool white LEDs clustered along a 14m dark green PVC cable, powered by a 31V 9W transformer with a 5m lead. Each 2mm LED sits 10mm apart, creating a dense, twinkling effect when lit. The controller built into the power adapter provides eight pre-programmed modes including waves, sequential, chase, and static, with the last-selected mode stored in memory when the lights are switched off and on again.
Designed for Christmas displays, garden features, pergolas, and event backdrops, the lights carry an IP44 rating, meaning they resist water splashes and can be used in sheltered outdoor locations such as under eaves, covered patios, or gazebos. The 8-hour on/16-hour off timer cycles automatically once activated, switching the lights on at the same time each evening without manual intervention. The cool white LEDs produce a crisp 6000K output that suits winter and contemporary schemes.
The 19m total length (14m lit section plus 5m power lead) allows the lights to span wide areas such as across a front garden hedge, along a fence line, or wrapped around larger trees and columns. The dark green cable blends into foliage during daylight, and the clustered spacing delivers consistent brightness across wide viewing angles without visible dark gaps between LEDs. The transformer runs on standard 230V mains via a UK 3-pin plug.

Frequently Asked
Can these be used fully outdoors?
The IP44 rating means the lights resist water splashes but are not fully waterproof. They suit sheltered outdoor locations such as under eaves, covered patios, gazebos, or inside porches. Do not use in locations where the cable and LEDs will be directly exposed to heavy rain or standing water.
How does the timer function work?
The controller includes an 8-hour on/16-hour off auto-timer. Once activated, the lights switch on at the same time each evening and turn off 8 hours later, cycling daily without needing to be reset. The timer is activated via a button on the controller unit.
What lighting modes are available?
Eight pre-programmed modes are selectable via the controller: waves, sequential, chase, combination, twinkle/flash, slow glow, slow fade, and static. The last-selected mode is stored in memory when the power is cycled.
Can multiple sets be linked together?
No. Each 960 LED set operates from its own transformer and cannot be daisy-chained or connected to other sets. To cover larger areas, run multiple sets from separate mains sockets.
