The Luxeon is a 26W dimmable LED magnetic track spotlight with a 230mm cylindrical aluminium body finished in matt black. The integrated LED emits 4000K cool white light through a reflector positioned at the front aperture, producing a focused beam suitable for accent and task lighting. The magnetic mounting system allows the spotlight to clip onto compatible magnetic track rails without tools, making repositioning straightforward after installation.

Designed for retail display lighting, gallery walls, kitchen worktops and workspace task lighting, the Luxeon provides directional illumination where ambient ceiling lighting would be too diffuse. The magnetic track system suits installations where lighting positions change regularly — shop displays being rearranged, gallery exhibitions rotating, or kitchen islands needing different task light angles depending on use. The spotlight rotates and tilts on the magnetic mount, giving control over beam direction without needing to loosen fixings.

The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm domestic white (2700K-3000K) and clinical daylight (5000K+), producing a neutral white that renders colours accurately without adding warmth or coolness to the lit surface. This makes it appropriate for retail environments where product colour needs to appear true, and for task lighting in kitchens and home offices where clarity matters. The dimmable LED allows output to be reduced when full 26W brightness is not needed, controlled via a compatible mains dimmer on the track circuit.

The aluminium construction provides heat dissipation for the LED module, helping maintain consistent light output and extending LED lifespan. What track system does the Luxeon fit?

The Luxeon uses a magnetic mounting system designed for Ideal Lux magnetic track rails. It will not fit standard three-circuit track systems. Confirm compatibility with your existing track before ordering, or purchase the matching Ideal Lux magnetic track separately.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 26W LED is integrated into the spotlight body and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 30,000+ hours of use, equivalent to approximately 10 years at 8 hours per day.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the spotlight is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It lacks the moisture protection required for bathroom zones and would fail if exposed to steam or splashing.

What dimmer type is needed?

The Luxeon requires a leading-edge or trailing-edge mains dimmer rated for LED loads, installed on the circuit feeding the magnetic track. Confirm dimmer compatibility before installation to avoid flickering or limited dimming range.
