Description

We stock the Luna as a compact globe pendant for Maytoni's 48V low-voltage track and pendant system. A spherical opal plastic diffuser, around 150mm across, hangs from a black aluminium cap that houses the integrated 10W LED and hides the cable entry. The globe pushes out 935 lumens of warm white light at 3000K across a wide 120 degree spread, so it reads as soft ambient light rather than a directed beam.

We think it works best where you want several matching pendants from one power source, such as over a bar, a run of tables or a kitchen island, in retail displays or in hospitality settings. Because it runs on 48V AC, you can connect multiple modules to a single driver circuit, and the module fits compatible track rails or ceiling mounts as a standalone pendant. The 90 CRI rating keeps colours looking true, which helps in dining areas, dressing spaces and anywhere colour judgement matters.

The Luna needs a compatible 48V AC driver or transformer, which is sold separately, so please make sure you have the right supply before ordering. It is not dimmable and runs at a constant brightness. The IP20 rating means it is for dry indoor areas only, away from moisture. The housing is aluminium and the globe is plastic, keeping the fitting light on the track.

Frequently Asked

Does it come with a driver?

No. The Luna runs on 48V AC low voltage, so it needs a compatible driver or transformer, which is sold separately. You can run several modules from one driver circuit, which is handy when you want a row of matching pendants.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is not dimmable and runs at a constant brightness, giving a steady 935 lumens of warm white 3000K light.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

We would not recommend it. The Luna is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor areas only and should be kept away from moisture and splashes.

How does it fit?

The module fits Maytoni's compatible 48V track rails or ceiling mounts and can be used as a standalone pendant. The black aluminium cap holds the LED and conceals the cable entry point.
