Description

The Lugo is a 65cm table lamp built around a spherical ceramic base with a dimpled, textured surface finished in a grey-blue reactive glaze. A grey linen drum shade sits on top, diffusing light from a single E27 bulb (sold separately) through the fabric weave. The base measures 41cm wide, giving the lamp substantial presence on larger surfaces.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables in hallways, and side tables in living rooms, the Lugo works where ambient lighting is needed without ceiling fittings. The 130cm cable allows the lamp to sit comfortably on surfaces 1-1.5m from a wall socket, and the standard toggle switch sits inline on the cable for easy access. The spherical base weighs 4kg, providing stability on most surfaces without tipping under normal use.

The reactive glaze on the ceramic base produces subtle tonal variation across the dimpled surface, with grey, blue and soft charcoal tones shifting depending on the angle of daylight or lamp light. The textured surface catches light and shadow differently throughout the day, adding visual interest beyond flat-finish ceramic. The grey linen shade softens the light output and pairs with both warm-toned and cooler interiors.
