Description

The Lucent is a 55mm square surface-mounted LED downlight with an integrated 25W 3000K LED housed in a matt white aluminium body. A black plastic inner baffle recesses behind the white outer frame, creating depth and defining the light aperture. The lens at the centre directs the LED output downward in a focused beam suitable for accent lighting or task zones.

Designed for rooms with low ceilings or where recessed downlights cannot be installed due to shallow ceiling voids, the Lucent surface-mounts directly to plasterboard or solid ceilings with a minimal 55mm projection. The 55mm square footprint takes up little visual space, making it suitable for corridors, cloakrooms, utility rooms and kitchens where compact fittings are needed. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light comparable to halogen.

The matt white aluminium body powder-coated to match standard white ceilings allows the fitting to blend into the ceiling plane when viewed from an angle. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas away from bathrooms and shower rooms. The integrated LED is fixed and non-replaceable, with a rated lifespan typical of Ideal Lux LED fittings.
