Description

The Look is a long metal tube that hangs as one tall vertical line and throws light down from its lower opening. The fitting is a single 30mm cylinder in black, the longest of the round family at 700mm, with a COB LED set deep in its base. Lit, the eye follows a slim black column to a soft pool underneath; unlit, it holds the line as a plain painted tube.

The 700mm length gives real presence in a tall space, and the cable adjusts from 900mm to 2850mm so it can drop well down a stairwell or a double-height hall. Its 60 degree beam is the widest in the round set, spreading a generous wash below, which suits a stairwell void, a high dining table or an entrance where the drop is meant to be seen.

The column is black metal on a matching black rose, wired for a standard switch. Its integrated LED draws 11.5W for 1000 lumens at 3000K warm white, with a colour rendering index above 90 and a rated 50,000 hour life, so tone holds true and no bulb is fitted. Rated IP20 for dry rooms, it comes ready to wire with the module in place.

What kind of light does the Look give?

A wide downward wash. The COB LED in the base of the tube spreads a 60 degree beam at 3000K warm white, with a colour rendering index above 90, covering more floor than the shorter tubes while keeping one clean source.

Does it need a bulb?

No. A built-in LED giving 1000 lumens on 11.5W is included and sealed into the tube, so nothing is bought or changed. The module is rated for roughly 50,000 hours.

Can it be dimmed?

This is the on-off version, set to a fixed 3000K output on a plain wall switch. A dimmable model of the same tube is made and we can point you to it if you need the level to move.

How big is it and where does it suit?

The tube is 700mm long and 30mm across, on a drop from 900mm to 2850mm. In black it suits a stairwell, a double-height hall or a tall dining space where a long line reads well.
