Description

Lola is a slim cylinder LED wall and ceiling light: a single tube 20.4cm long and 5.2cm across, on a round base 4cm tall. Fitted to a wall, it stands 22cm out from it. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 9W and gives 972 lumens through a 24° beam, a focused spot of light rather than a broad wash, and its CRI of 90 keeps colours true. You choose the colour of the light when you order, 2700K for a warm, cosy glow or 3000K for a slightly fresher warm white, and the finish: White, Black, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass or Brushed Titanium.

The head pivots on its base, so you can point it straight down or angle it towards a wall, a painting or a bookshelf, and two fitted side by side can pick out two things at once. That makes it a natural choice for hallways, landings and stairwells, for lighting artwork in a living room, or for a reading corner in a bedroom or study. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. White and Black sit quietly against a plain ceiling, while Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass and Brushed Titanium add a soft metallic sheen that suits plaster walls and natural timber.

Inside the tube, the light source sits well back, framed by a dark inner surface, which keeps the opening neat when you look up at it. Lola runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician, on a ceiling or on a wall. It is dimmable on a compatible phase-cut dimmer. If you are planning several in one room, we suggest choosing the same colour temperature for all of them, so the light matches from one spot to the next. Our photographs show the white version.
