Description

Our Liuka wool Christmas decorations come as a set of two hanging figures, each made in 100% wool and finished in soft white. One is an angel with glittering wings, a fluffy bodice and a beaded necklace, with a sparkling circlet in her hair. The other is a dancer with a beaded band around her bun, one arm raised and a full skirt scattered with glitter dots. Both have slim legs wound with sparkling thread. Each figure is 11cm wide and 14cm tall, a size that settles in among the branches rather than taking over the tree.

They are made for the Christmas tree, where wool gives a softer look among glass baubles and strings of lights. They work just as well away from the tree: hang them from a window catch, a cupboard knob, a wreath or a garland along the mantelpiece, or tie one to a wrapped present as an extra gift. They suit anyone who likes white and natural textures at Christmas, and a pair hung side by side at a window reads as a small winter scene of its own.

Each figure has a loop of jute string attached for hanging, so there is no hook or ribbon to hunt for, and the rough texture of the jute sits nicely against the soft wool. The weight is given as 0.02KG, so they are light enough for the slimmer tips of a branch as well as the sturdier ones.
