Description

These stoneware bowls come as a set of four, each 13cm across and 9cm tall with a generous 613ml capacity. Their character comes from the shape: a full, rounded body sits on a short pedestal foot marked with fine ribbed stripes, lifting every bowl a little off the table. The outside is lettered in loose script, La Dolce Vita on some and Bon appétit on others, among small flowers and birds, with a thin line circling the rim. The result is cheerful, multicoloured tableware that brightens an everyday table.

At 613ml, these are proper breakfast bowls rather than dainty dessert dishes. There is room enough for cereal, porridge or yoghurt with fruit, a good serving of soup, or a helping of pasta or salad. The lettering makes them a natural choice for relaxed weekend brunches and long lunches with friends, and they suit the kitchen table and the dining room alike.
