Designed for medium-sized outdoor spaces, the lantern measures 352mm high by 181mm wide with a 229mm projection from the wall, giving it enough presence to mark a doorway or gate entrance without overwhelming a domestic facade. The wall plate fixes to standard UK outdoor electrical boxes and the downward-angled hood sheds rainwater away from the glass and bulb chamber. The seeded glass texture scatters light rather than focusing it, reducing glare and creating a softer ambient spread across the wall and ground below.

What bulb should I use?

The lantern takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W. Most users pair it with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K for a traditional outdoor glow. The seeded glass scatters the light, so a clear filament LED or traditional filament bulb creates additional visual interest through the textured panels.

Can it be installed upside-down or horizontally?

The design assumes vertical mounting with the hood at the top to shed rainwater. Installing upside-down would trap water inside the glass chamber and is not recommended.

How is the glass cleaned?

The seeded glass can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The cage bars unscrew from the lantern body on most Feiss outdoor lanterns of this style, allowing access to the inside of the glass panels for deeper cleaning once or twice a year.
