Description

The Lia is an 85cm LED suspension light built around three interlocking loops of steel and aluminium, each loop housing an integrated LED strip diffused through opal silicone. The loops intertwine in a sculptural configuration that creates a sense of movement and lightness despite the metal construction, finished in applied gold leaf that catches and reflects ambient light from different angles.

Designed for dining tables and kitchen islands in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.9m, the Lia provides soft ambient illumination rather than focused task light. The 32W integrated LED casts 3000K warm white light through the opal diffuser, avoiding glare while lighting the table surface and surrounding area. The height-adjustable suspension ranges from 40cm to 120cm drop, allowing the fitting to be positioned 70-90cm above a dining surface or kitchen worktop depending on ceiling height.

The gold leaf finish is applied by hand to the steel frame, giving a textured metallic surface that varies slightly across the loops rather than presenting as uniform electroplated gold. The opal silicone diffuser runs the full length of each loop, concealing the LED strip and preventing hotspots. The three-loop configuration measures 85cm wide × 28cm deep × 25cm tall when hung, making it proportionally suited to tables 160-200cm long or kitchen islands 180-240cm long.
