Description
We stock the Levitation in brass as a 345mm wire cage pendant for over a table or island. Vertical brass ribs taper at the top and bottom to form a bulbous, lantern-like shade, with a white opal glass diffuser sitting inside the cage to soften the light. It takes a single E27 bulb up to 40W (sold separately), so you can pick the colour temperature and brightness that suit the room.
The pendant hangs from a brass canopy on a height-adjustable black fabric cable, which makes it a good fit for dining tables, kitchen islands and hallways in rooms with ceilings of 2.4m or above. When it is lit, the open wire ribs cast vertical shadow patterns across nearby walls and ceilings, while the opal glass inside diffuses the bulb to keep glare down. The warm brass finish sits comfortably in both traditional and mid-century interiors.
This is a decorative pendant rated IP20, so it is made for dry interior locations away from direct water and is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use. It runs on 220-240V 50Hz AC mains and is not dimmable at the fixture, though a dimmable bulb on a compatible dimmer will give you some control. The E27 socket accepts LED, halogen or filament bulbs, and the 345mm shade keeps a substantial presence without feeling heavy in smaller dining areas.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take and is one included?
It uses a single E27 screw-fit bulb up to 40W, sold separately. You can fit an LED, halogen or filament bulb, which lets you choose the colour temperature and brightness to suit the space.
Is it dimmable?
The fixture itself is not dimmable. If you want to dim it, fit a dimmable E27 bulb and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch (both sold separately).
Can I use it in a bathroom or outside?
No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms only, so it should be kept away from direct water. It is not suitable for bathroom zones or outdoor use.
Where does the 345mm size work best?
We find it suits dining tables, kitchen islands and hallways with ceilings of 2.4m or above. The 345mm shade gives a decorative presence in smaller dining areas without overwhelming the space, and there is a 258mm version in the same range if you need something more compact.
