Description

We stock the Levitation as a wire cage pendant with a 500mm brass shade formed from concentric ribs, with a white glass diffuser set into the base of the cage. An integrated 20W LED sits inside that diffuser and casts 500 lumens of warm 3000K light downward, while the open brass ribs throw decorative shadow patterns across walls and ceilings.

This one suits dining tables, kitchen islands and living room seating, giving both task and ambient light. The white glass diffuser softens the LED so you avoid glare when seated beneath it, and the open cage lets light escape upward and sideways. We find it hangs best 700 to 800mm above a dining table, or 900 to 1000mm above a kitchen island, depending on your ceiling height.

The cage suspends on a black fabric-covered cable from a matching brass ceiling canopy, and the cable is adjustable during installation so you can set the drop. The brass finish gives a warm metallic tone that reads well in both modern and traditional rooms. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and the fitting is rated IP20, so keep it to dry indoor spaces.

What size is this pendant?

The brass cage measures 500mm in diameter. We also stock the same Levitation pendant in 345mm and 258mm if you need a smaller drop.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated 20W LED is non-dimmable, so it runs at a fixed 500 lumens of warm 3000K light and does not need a separate dimmer.

Where can I fit it?

It is rated IP20, which means dry indoor spaces only. It works well over dining tables, kitchen islands and living room seating, and is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoors.

Do I need a separate bulb?

No. The 20W LED is integrated into the glass diffuser, so there is no bulb to buy or replace. It arrives on a black fabric-covered cable with a matching brass ceiling canopy.
