Description

We stock the Lens as a 74mm surface-mounted LED ceiling light in white, built for pointing light exactly where you want it. It sits in a white powder-coated aluminium cylinder with an adjustable head that rotates and tilts on a ball joint, and the integrated 12W LED gives 1155 lumens of warm white light at 3000K through a focused 70 degree beam.

We reach for it in hallways, kitchens, living rooms and retail or gallery displays where you want directional accent or task light without recessing anything into the ceiling. It mounts straight onto the ceiling surface on its circular base plate, and once it is up you can angle the beam towards artwork, a worktop, a doorway or an architectural feature. From a standard 2.4m ceiling the 70 degree spread lights a patch roughly 1.5 to 2m across.

The 90 CRI rating keeps colours looking true under the light, which helps with display work or any task where colour judgement matters. The white powder-coated aluminium resists discolouration and sits quietly against white or light ceilings. The LED is not dimmable, it runs on standard 220-240V mains, and the IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor spots.

Frequently Asked

How does it mount to the ceiling?

It is surface-mounted, fixing straight onto the ceiling on its circular base plate with no recessing needed. The head then rotates and tilts on a ball joint so you can aim the beam after it is installed.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated 12W LED is not dimmable, so it runs at a fixed 1155 lumens of 3000K warm white on standard 220-240V mains.

Where can I use it, and is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It suits hallways, kitchens, living rooms and display spaces indoors.

What does the 70 degree beam cover?

From a standard 2.4m ceiling the 70 degree beam lights an area roughly 1.5 to 2m across, which works well for accent lighting or focused task light over a specific spot.
