Description

Our Lenka bowl is a small clear glass bowl with real character. Its walls carry a gentle rippled texture, and the rim runs softly uneven rather than perfectly level, so light plays across the glass wherever it sits. It measures 7.5cm long, 8cm wide and 5cm tall and holds 100ml, which makes it a dip or condiment bowl rather than a cereal bowl: think a spoonful of sauce, a handful of nuts or a pinch of flaky salt. A small foot lifts the base just clear of the table.

It earns its place at the table and in the kitchen alike. The maker rates it for food, so set a few out for olives, chutney or a dressing at a weekend lunch, or line them along a board of cheese and bread for guests to help themselves. At 100ml it suits soy sauce beside a plate of dumplings, a little honey for breakfast yoghurt, or a small portion of something sweet after dinner.
