Description

This pack of four round napkin rings is made from 100% brass in gold, each ring a slim, plain band 4.5cm across and 1.5cm wide. There is no pattern, engraving or added decoration, so the colour and the clean circle of metal do all the work at each place. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, a dense and hard-wearing metal, and these rings are brass through and through rather than a coating over another material. At 4.5cm across, a ring takes a cloth napkin rolled or gathered at its middle, and the narrow 1.5cm band leaves plenty of fabric showing either side.

They belong on the dining table or the kitchen table, one at each place setting, whenever you want the table to look laid with a little more care than usual.
