Description

This is a round stoneware teapot with a fluted body, a domed lid and a glossy blue glaze that catches the light along each rib. It holds 1085ml, which makes it a pot for the table rather than a single cup: one to fill when there are a few of you, or when you want a second cup without boiling the kettle again. It stands 17cm tall and 13cm across, with a short curved spout, a wide loop handle and a rounded knob on the lid, and it weighs 0.6KG.

It belongs on the kitchen counter and the dining table alike: breakfast tea for two, a pot after Sunday lunch, or afternoon tea when friends come round.
