The Lacey is a 5-light chandelier from Kichler with five curved arms in an antique pewter finish, each supporting a double-layered shade combining outer organza fabric with an inner opal glass diffuser. The chandelier measures 635mm in diameter and 656mm in body height, with a central column that hangs from a chain adjustable between 756mm and 2623mm total drop. Each light takes an E14 candle bulb up to 40W (bulbs sold separately).

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and hallways with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Lacey works as a primary light source over a dining table or as an ambient feature in an entrance hall. The double-shade design creates layered light output: the inner opal glass diffuses the bulb glare while the outer organza fabric softens the perimeter glow and adds a textile texture to the fitting. The 635mm spread suits rooms 3.5-5m in width without overwhelming smaller spaces or appearing lost in larger ones.

The antique pewter finish on the metalwork provides a mid-tone grey-silver that sits between polished chrome and brushed nickel, pairing with both warm and cool colour palettes. The curved arms spiral out from a central column in a symmetrical five-point arrangement, with each arm terminating in a candle cup below the shade assembly. The organza fabric on the shades has a fine weave that becomes partially translucent when the bulbs are lit, creating a halo effect around each shade.

What bulbs does the Lacey take?

Each of the five lights takes a standard E14 candle bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to match the traditional styling and provide adequate illumination without glare through the organza fabric.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop from ceiling to base is 756mm. For a dining table the chandelier typically hangs 700-900mm above the surface, which requires a ceiling height of at least 2.5m. The chain is adjustable on installation up to a maximum 2623mm drop for high-ceiling spaces.

Can the fabric shades be cleaned?

The organza fabric outer layer can be gently dusted with a soft brush or cloth. The opal glass inner shade can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth when the fitting is switched off and bulbs have cooled. Do not immerse the fabric shades in water or use chemical cleaners on the organza.

Is this chandelier dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs fitted. LED candle bulbs marked as dimmable will work with most trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmers. Check the bulb packaging for specific dimmer compatibility before pairing with a dimmer switch.
