Lacey 4 Light Drum Pendant - Mission Bronze Double Shade

The Lacey is a 508mm drum pendant light with a mission bronze curved-arm frame suspending a double-layered shade: sheer organza fabric on the outside, opal etched glass on the inside. Four E27 bulb sockets sit within the inner glass drum, with the organza outer layer acting as a secondary diffuser that softens the light while preserving the detail of the bronze metalwork.

Designed for dining rooms, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Lacey works where ambient and decorative lighting are both needed. The 698mm minimum drop places the shade approximately 600-700mm above a dining table in a standard 2.4m-ceiling room, with the chain adjustable up to 2564mm for vaulted ceilings or double-height spaces. The pendant fits standard UK ceiling roses and the chain conceals the cable run.

The mission bronze finish on the metalwork is a dark brown with subtle red undertones, darker than standard oil-rubbed bronze and closer to the patina on aged copper. The curved arms extend from a central stem before bending outward to support the drum, giving the pendant a more architectural profile than a simple suspended shade. The organza fabric shows a fine texture under close inspection but reads as a soft translucent layer from typical viewing distances of 2-3m.

Each E27 socket accepts bulbs up to 60W, giving a combined 240W capacity if all four sockets are fitted with incandescent or halogen bulbs. Most installations pair the pendant with four 6-10W LED bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for even ambient light with lower energy consumption. Bulbs are sold separately.

Can the organza shade be cleaned?

Is the pendant dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulbs you fit. Standard dimmable LED bulbs paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch will allow full dimming control. Check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchase.
