Description

The Kuna is a rack of five hooks on a single flat iron bar, 35.5cm long and 11.5cm from the top of the bar to the bottom of the hooks. Each hook is a flat tapered arm fixed to the face of the bar with a round headed rivet, dropping down and then curving forward into a tight curl that turns back on itself. The antique brass patina is uneven across the whole piece, dark and pitted in the hollows and worn back to a lighter tone along the edges and the curls.

It stands 6cm off the wall. The curl at the end of each hook turns back up, so a strap or a loop sits down into it rather than sliding off. There is a screw hole at each end of the bar, and the five hooks are set at even intervals between them. Each hook takes a scarf or a bag.

The rack is iron under an antique brass patina, and it weighs 0.685kg. It is for indoor use. The Kuna is made in this large size, 35.5cm across, and in a small one at 23cm.
