Description
The Kula is a 5 light chandelier built around a central vertical rod with four horizontal arms radiating outward at ceiling level and a single drop rod extending downward, each terminating in a smoked mirror glass globe. The polished nickel metalwork gives a reflective silver finish across the ceiling canopy, central hub, arms and bulb sockets. Each globe houses a single E14 bulb (sold separately), with the semi-transparent smoked glass creating a diffused ambient glow rather than direct downlight.
Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Kula spans 674mm in diameter — suitable for tables 1.4-1.8m long or as a central feature in rooms 3.5-5m wide. The drop is adjustable on installation from 427mm minimum to 1459mm maximum, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or higher in double-height spaces. The polished nickel canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the cable runs inside the central rod.
The smoked mirror glass globes show a gradient transparency — darker when unlit, brightening to a warm amber-grey glow when the E14 bulbs are switched on. The four horizontal arms distribute light evenly across the room plane, while the single downward globe provides a central accent below the fitting. The polished nickel finish pairs with both warm and cool-toned interiors, and the retro globe-on-arm configuration references mid-century molecular chandeliers without copying them directly. Each globe is 120mm diameter, giving the chandelier a substantial presence without the weight of solid glass fittings.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Kula take?
The chandelier takes five E14 small Edison screw bulbs, each up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K for dining and living rooms.
What ceiling height is needed?
The drop is adjustable on installation from 427mm to 1459mm. For a dining table the chandelier typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Higher ceilings can use the full drop for dramatic effect in double-height entrance halls.
Is the Kula dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you fit. If you use dimmable E14 LED bulbs and pair them with a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer, the chandelier will dim smoothly. Standard non-dimmable LEDs will not work with a dimmer switch.
How is the smoked glass cleaned?
The smoked mirror glass globes can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth when the chandelier is switched off and cool. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, followed by immediate drying to prevent water spots on the mirrored surface.
