Description

We stock the Krone as a crystal LED pendant light built around a single circular brass ring, 620mm across. Faceted crystal prisms line both the inner and outer edges of the frame, and an integrated 36W LED runs within the ring, giving 2340 lumens of warm white (3000K) light at a wide 180 degree spread. As the light passes through the double row of prisms it catches and scatters, so the ring works as both a light source and the focal point of the room.

We think this one suits a dining area, an entrance hall or a living space where you want a decorative ring hanging horizontally overhead. It hangs from three suspension cables fixed to a matching brass ceiling canopy, and those cables are adjustable on installation so you can set the drop to suit your ceiling height. At 620mm it is the smaller of the two sizes we carry, sitting neatly over a table or in a hallway without dominating the ceiling.

The frame is metal in a mid-tone satin brass, reading as a warm neutral rather than a bright polished or dark antique finish. The LED is integrated, so there are no separate bulbs to buy or replace, and it is rated at 90 CRI for accurate colour rendering. It runs on a standard 220-240V supply, is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms, and is not dimmable.

What size is this pendant and how does it differ from the larger Krone?

This is the 620mm version, measured across the diameter of the brass ring. We also stock an 800mm Krone in the same brass finish, so pick the 620mm if you want a more compact ring over a table or in a hallway.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed output of 2340 lumens in warm white (3000K), so it is not set up to work with a dimmer.

Do I need to buy any bulbs?

No. The 36W LED is built into the brass ring, so there is nothing separate to buy or replace. It gives 2340 lumens of 3000K warm white light with a 90 CRI rating for accurate colours.

How is it fitted and where can I use it?
