Description

The large Konara is 20cm across, five centimetres wider than the small and close to three times the weight at 0.7kg. The banding is the same and so is the crackled foil, but over a larger sphere the bands are broader and the clearer section at the base is deeper. The brass cap and its wire loop are unchanged.

Twenty centimetres hangs from a hook in a window or from a beam rather than from a branch. Hung together on cords of different lengths, the two sizes make the arrangement. At 0.7kg whatever holds it needs to take the weight.

The glass is recycled and mouth-blown, so the mottling under the foil is different on every bauble. The cap is brass. A 15cm Konara giant bauble runs alongside it, and a set of four 8cm Konara baubles.

Specification
Diameter 20cm

Frequently Asked

How heavy is it?

0.7kg, so it needs a hook that will take the weight.

How does it hang?

By a wire loop through the brass cap.

Is there a smaller size?

Yes, 15cm across.

How do I look after it?

A dry soft cloth for dust, and careful handling. Keep harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners off the finish, and use it indoors only.
