Description
The Knightsbridge 4ft DALI CCT adjustable LED batten delivers 32W of integrated LED light through a 1225mm pressed steel and polycarbonate housing finished in white. The CCT adjustment allows switching between three colour temperatures—3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white, and 5700K daylight—via a selector on the driver, making it adaptable to different work environments without changing the fitting.
Designed as a direct replacement for conventional 4ft fluorescent battens in offices, warehouses, workshops and utility spaces, the fitting includes rear and end conduit fixing points that align with existing fluorescent mounting positions. The DALI control gear integrates into simple room or networked building management systems, allowing centralised dimming and scene control across multiple fittings. A hinged gear tray and push-fit loop-in-loop-out terminals reduce installation time by allowing daisy-chained wiring without junction boxes.
The opal polycarbonate diffuser spreads the LED array into an even 105° beam with a CRI of >85, minimising harsh shadows and glare in task lighting applications. At 4000K the fitting outputs 4480lm from the 32W LED, giving an efficacy of 140lm/W. The L70B50 rating of 60,000 hours predicts the LED will retain 70% of initial output after approximately seven years of continuous use, reducing maintenance frequency compared to fluorescent tubes.

Frequently Asked
How is the CCT adjusted?
A selector switch on the DALI driver allows you to choose between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white, and 5700K daylight. The setting is chosen during installation and requires access to the gear tray to change later.
Can this be dimmed?
Yes. The DALI control gear integrates into DALI-compatible building management systems for full dimming and scene control. It also supports push-dimming via a DALI push-button interface where no building system is present.
Is it a direct replacement for fluorescent battens?
Yes. The 1225mm length, rear and end conduit fixing points, and similar mounting profile make this a direct swap for conventional 4ft fluorescent fittings. The push-fit loop-in-loop-out terminals allow daisy-chained wiring without modifying the existing electrical layout.
What does the IP20 rating mean?
IP20 means the fitting is protected against solid objects larger than 12.5mm but offers no moisture protection. This batten is suitable for indoor dry environments only—offices, workshops, storage areas—and should not be used in damp or outdoor locations.
