What's the difference between a surface pattress box and a flush back box?

A surface pattress box mounts on top of the wall surface rather than being recessed into it. This suits installations where cutting into the wall is impractical — thin masonry, tiled surfaces, temporary setups or locations where drilling depth is limited.

Is the CU1600 compatible with other Knightsbridge ranges?

The rounded front edge is specifically designed to match the curved profile of the Knightsbridge CU (Curved Edge) series faceplates. Flat-fronted accessories from other Knightsbridge ranges will fit mechanically but won't achieve the same visual continuity between box and faceplate.

What does the cable strain relief do?
