Kagitha Large 3 Light Recycled Glass Chandelier - Green

The large Kagitha carries four tiers of round green glass discs where the small carries three. A solid brass band forms the top ring, and the discs hook onto it and onto the rings below, overlapping like scales and stepping inward as they descend. The glass is pressed, so the ripples and the depth of green change from one disc to the next, running from a near clear grey to a deep olive. A brass chain and ceiling plate sit above. It measures 31cm tall and 56cm across.

Three bulbs sit inside the frame. Light leaves through the glass and between the discs, and the brass band at the top catches it and sends it back down through the tiers, so the discs nearest the bulbs are the brightest part of the piece. At 56cm across this is the size for a long dining table or a hall with height to give it, where the small at 45cm is the one for a tighter ceiling. It takes three E14 bulbs up to 40W each, it is dimmable, the flex runs 1.5m, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

The discs are recycled glass and the frame is iron in a brass finish. Each disc is pressed on its own, so no two match. The Kagitha range also holds this chandelier in a small at 45cm across, a small in clear glass, and one in antique brass. Bulbs are not included.

How is it different from the small?

It is 56cm across and 31cm tall against 45cm and 26cm, and it carries four tiers of discs where the small carries three. Both take three E14 bulbs.

How many bulbs does it need?

Three, all E14, up to 40W each. They are not included.

Is the green the same on every disc?

No. Each disc is pressed on its own, so the tone shifts across the tiers between a near clear grey and a deep olive.

How do I clean it?

Switch it off and let the bulbs cool, then wipe each disc with a soft dry cloth in a circular motion. Keep harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners off the glass.
