Description

A table runner in pure linen, 230cm long and 45cm wide. The weave is open enough to read as linen from across a room, and the tone is an undyed natural sitting between oatmeal and grey. The edges are turned and held with a fine cord stitch set in a little way from the border, and the corners are mitred.

At 230cm it runs the length of a long dining table with an overhang at both ends, the ends falling over the edge. At 45cm wide it leaves the timber showing along both sides of a standard table rather than covering it. It is food safe.

The linen is woven by hand in Portugal and every piece is finished by hand, so the weave tightens and loosens a little along the length and the cord stitch is never twice identical. It is 100 per cent linen with nothing blended into it. The Junto range also holds napkins and two sizes of tablecloth in the same linen.
