Description
The Jazmin is a set of three white fibreclay planters with hand-carved vertical ridge textures moulded into the outer surface. Each planter is constructed from a composite of fibreglass and clay resin, giving a lightweight-feel material that resists UV degradation and frost damage when used outdoors. The set includes three sizes: large 51x60cm (diameter x height), medium 40x48cm, and small 29x36cm.
Designed for indoor or outdoor use, the planters suit covered patios, entrance halls, living rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, and conservatories where larger potted plants anchor a space. The white finish provides a neutral backdrop that works with green foliage, allowing palms, fiddle-leaf figs, ornamental grasses or trailing plants to dominate visually. The planters can be grouped as a trio or separated across different rooms depending on layout needs.
The vertical ridge texture runs continuously around each planter, creating shadow lines under directional light that give the surface a hand-sculpted appearance without the weight or fragility of carved stone. The fibreclay construction makes the set considerably lighter than ceramic or terracotta equivalents of the same size — the combined weight of all three planters is 27.5kg, compared to 40-50kg for ceramic alternatives. The base of each planter is flat with no integrated drainage holes, so outdoor use requires adding a layer of gravel or drilling holes if planting directly into the pots.

Frequently Asked
Can these planters be used outdoors year-round?
Yes. The fibreclay composite resists UV degradation and frost damage, making the planters suitable for outdoor use in UK climates. However, they have no integrated drainage holes, so drilling holes or adding a gravel layer is recommended if planting directly rather than using inner pots.
What size plants do they suit?
The large planter (51x60cm) suits medium-sized palms, fiddle-leaf figs or large ferns. The medium (40x48cm) works with smaller palms or trailing plants. The small (29x36cm) suits succulents, ornamental grasses or compact foliage plants. The three sizes allow for staggered heights when grouped together.
How much do they weigh individually?
The specification lists the combined weight of all three planters as 27.5kg. Individual weights are not specified, but fibreclay is considerably lighter than ceramic or terracotta of the same dimensions, making the planters easier to move when repositioning plants.
How is the white finish cleaned?
Wipe the outer surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The textured ridges can trap dust, so a soft brush may help clean between the vertical grooves. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scuff the white resin finish.
