Description

Two tealight holders blown from recycled glass, and they are not a matched pair: one is wider and deeper than the other. The glass is a dark amber that reads almost orange once a flame is inside it, and the outside carries a distressed metallic finish that breaks into bands of dull gold and pale grey across the lower half. The rims are uneven, rising and dipping around the circle.

The wall is thick and the well is shallow, so a tealight stands low in the holder and the light comes up through the amber glass rather than out over the rim. That puts the glow on whatever they stand on. Both stand lit on a side table, the smaller in front of the larger.

The glass is recycled and each holder is blown by hand, which is why the rims run uneven and no two carry the metallic finish at the same height. Janka runs in charcoal as well as dark amber. The tealights are not included.
