Description

Three squat glass cylinders, each 6.5cm across and 5.5cm high, blown from recycled glass in a dark emerald that goes almost black where the wall is thickest. A texture is hammered into the glass all round, so the surface is faceted rather than smooth and the rim is left slightly uneven.

Five and a half centimetres is low enough that a lit tealight sits proud of the rim and the light comes off the top as much as through the sides. Grouped on a tray and lit, the hammering breaks the flame into points across the glass. Three of them take up less room than one large holder.

The glass is recycled and blown by hand: air into molten glass, then shaped, which is where the uneven rim comes from. Three are supplied. The tealights are not included.
