Description
The Ingrid is a 19cm LED pendant light with a pentagonal champagne-tinted glass shade suspended from a dark bronze aluminium canopy. An integrated 6W LED ring sits inside the glass, behind a silicone diffuser that spreads 161 lumens of warm 3000K light evenly through the champagne tint. The pendant hangs on a single braided cable, adjustable between 35cm and 160cm drop during installation.
Designed for close-range ambient lighting rather than task illumination, the Ingrid suits bedside positions, hallway accent lighting, and clustered installations above breakfast bars or kitchen islands. The 6W output is deliberately low, providing soft background light rather than primary room illumination. The champagne glass casts a warm amber glow when lit, softening the direct LED source and working well in warm-toned and neutral interiors. Multiple Ingrid pendants grouped at staggered heights create layered lighting over dining tables or island counters in open-plan spaces.
The dark bronze aluminium frame contrasts with the lighter champagne glass, giving the pendant definition when unlit and preventing it from disappearing into pale ceilings. The pentagonal glass profile is geometric without being harsh, sitting between fully organic forms and strict rectilinear shapes. At 0.62kg the pendant is light enough for standard UK ceiling roses and requires no additional ceiling reinforcement. The integrated LED is non-replaceable, with a rated lifespan typical of modern LED modules (usually 20,000+ hours depending on usage).

Frequently Asked
Is the Ingrid bright enough for a dining table?
At 161 lumens and 6W, the Ingrid provides soft ambient light rather than primary task illumination. It works well as accent lighting or when grouped with other pendants, but a single unit alone will not provide enough light for dining or food preparation.
Can the integrated LED be replaced?
No. The LED module is integrated into the pendant and cannot be replaced by the user. Modern LED modules typically offer 20,000+ hours of use, which equates to around 10-15 years of typical domestic use before significant light degradation.
What ceiling height is needed?
The cable adjusts between 35cm and 160cm drop. For bedside use or low positioning, 35cm works in rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings. For dining or kitchen island use, 70-90cm above the surface is typical, requiring ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.
Does the champagne glass change the light colour?
Yes. The 3000K LED appears warm white on its own, but the champagne-tinted glass adds an amber cast to the light output, making it slightly warmer and more golden in tone than a clear glass version of the same pendant would produce.
