Description

The Indore is a wire bath bridge, 74cm from end to end. A shallow open basket sits in the middle, its sides built from close set vertical wires and its floor from a run of parallel bars, and a flat rectangular frame extends from each end in the same plane as the rim. Those two frames are what rest on the sides of the bath, so the basket hangs between them over the water.

It is a bath caddy, and the 74cm span covers a standard roll top or a straight sided bath. The end frames only rest on the rim, so it slides along the bath rather than fixing to it and comes away entirely when it is not wanted. The basket is 15cm deep with sides 7cm high, which is enough for bottles to stand upright rather than lie flat, and the open wire floor lets water run straight back into the bath.

The whole thing is iron wire, shaped into straight lines and joined, then given an aged brass finish that reads warm brown rather than yellow. At 0.76kg it lifts with one hand. It is made for bathroom use. The Indore range also holds a wall shelf and a mango wood caddy in the same finish.
