Our Indah bowl is cut from 100% marble and shaped into a low, round dish with a thick, softly rounded rim that curves inwards to a shallow hollow. It measures 15cm across and 5cm tall, small enough to hand round the table. The stone is grey with swirling veins and soft tonal patterns, and because marble is a natural stone, the veining varies from one piece to the next, so your bowl will carry its own markings. At 1.79KG it is heavy for its size, which keeps it steady on a table or shelf.

The maker rates it food safe, so it works as a small serving bowl: olives, salted nuts or a few sweets for guests, or a little dish of sea salt beside the hob. Away from the kitchen it makes a handsome catch-all. Set it on a hallway console for keys, on a dressing table for rings and earrings, or on a bedside table for a watch at night.
