Description

The Iliada is a 5-light cluster pendant built around five individual clear acrylic spiral tubes, each crowned with a bright gold cap and suspended from a satin black circular canopy. An integrated 35W LED system inside each spiral emits warm 3000K light that refracts through the carved acrylic texture, casting filigree patterns onto surrounding walls. The five pendants are wired to a single TRIAC/0-10V dimmable driver, allowing brightness to be adjusted from any compatible LED dimmer switch.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and lounge areas with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Iliada provides both task and decorative lighting in mid-sized rooms. Each of the five pendants has an individually adjustable cable, with minimum drop of 35cm and maximum of 200cm, allowing the cluster to be configured as a tight group or staggered at different heights. The 30cm canopy diameter provides balanced visual weight over a 120-140cm table or island without dominating smaller spaces.

The acrylic spirals are machined with a helical groove pattern that catches and redirects the LED light, creating a shimmer effect that changes as you move around the fitting. The gold caps add a warm metallic accent without the cost or weight of solid brass, and the satin black canopy recedes into darker ceilings while providing clean contrast on white. The combined fitting weighs 4.58kg, which standard UK ceiling fixings and joists can support without additional reinforcement.

The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations only. The Class 1 electrical construction requires an earth connection during installation. The high CRI of >90 ensures accurate colour rendering, making the Iliada suitable for dining areas where food presentation matters and for reading corners where fabric or print colours need to appear true.

Yes. The integrated LED system is controlled by a TRIAC/0-10V compatible driver, allowing dimming via any compatible LED dimmer switch. Flicker-free dimming is supported across the full brightness range.

Can the drop heights be adjusted individually?

Yes. Each of the five pendants has its own adjustable cable, with a minimum drop of 35cm and maximum of 200cm. This allows the cluster to be configured as a tight group or staggered at different heights to suit the ceiling height and table size.

What ceiling height is needed?

The pendant suits ceiling heights of 2.5m or above when hung over a dining table or island. For a typical 75cm table height, the pendants would sit 60-80cm above the surface, requiring at least 2.15m floor-to-ceiling clearance plus the pendant drop.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor use, or areas where moisture or splashing may occur.
