Iliada 5 Light LED Bar Pendant 35W 3000K - Gold & Black

The Iliada is a 96cm linear bar pendant suspending five carved spiral acrylic shades on individual cables from a matt black rectangular canopy with gold-toned accents. Each shade is moulded and hand-carved to create a ribbon-like helix that wraps around a cylindrical core housing a 7W integrated LED. The combined 35W output at 3000K warm white distributes light evenly along the length of the fitting, making it suitable for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas requiring linear task and ambient lighting.

The five pendants hang at staggered heights within an adjustable range of 35-160cm from ceiling to shade base, allowing the fitting to be tailored to different ceiling heights and table positions during installation. The dimmable integrated LED responds to trailing-edge and leading-edge dimmers, giving control over light intensity for dining, entertaining or evening use. The matt black canopy measures 96cm long by 9cm deep and sits close to the ceiling, distributing the five cable drops across the full length of the bar.

The acrylic shades combine translucent and textured surfaces — the carved spiral catches and refracts the light as it passes through the material, creating highlights along the gold-toned metal collar at the centre of each shade. The black and gold finish pairs with contemporary, art deco and warm industrial interiors, and the sculptural shade design adds visual interest even when the light is off. At 5.3kg total weight, the fitting requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or a reinforced ceiling rose rated for the load.

The IP20 rating limits the Iliada to dry indoor environments. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but rated for 25,000+ hours of use (approximately 10-15 years at typical residential usage). The fitting carries a CRI of >90, meaning colours render accurately under the light, which is useful over dining tables and in kitchens where food preparation takes place.

Is the Iliada dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 35W LED is compatible with both trailing-edge and leading-edge dimmers. Dimmer performance varies by model, so test compatibility with your specific dimmer before final installation if smooth dimming across the full range is required.

What table length does it suit?

The 96cm canopy distributes the five pendants across just under 1 metre of linear space. This works well over dining tables between 160-200cm long, positioned centrally with approximately 30-50cm clearance at each end. For kitchen islands, the fitting suits worktop lengths of 180-220cm.

How is the drop height adjusted?

Each of the five cables can be shortened or lengthened during installation within the 35-160cm range. The cables are adjusted individually, allowing the shades to hang at uniform height or staggered heights depending on preference. Once installed, the drop cannot be adjusted without removing the canopy and re-threading the cables.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The integrated LED is non-replaceable and rated for 25,000+ hours of use. At typical residential usage of 4-6 hours per day, this equates to approximately 10-15 years before the light output begins to degrade noticeably.
