The Hilow Line is a slim linear wall light: a single white bar 150cm long and just 2.3cm across, rising from a small bracket that measures 4cm by 8cm. Its white finish and white diffuser keep it quiet against a pale wall, so what you notice is the line of light rather than the fitting. The light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 27W and gives 1696 lumens with a CRI of 90, so colours, timber and fabrics look true beside it. We offer it in 2700K or 3000K, the warmer and the slightly crisper of the two.

We think it works best where a wall needs light without a bulky fitting: beside a bed, along a dining room wall above a sideboard, or by a sofa or doorway in a living room. At 150cm long it reads as one drawn line, so a single light suits a narrow stretch of wall, while a pair either side of a bed or a fireplace gives a balanced look. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It is dimmable by DALI or push, so you can bring it right down for a soft glow late in the evening and turn it up when you need to see.

There is very little to it, and that is the point: one slim white bar with its white diffuser, an integrated LED inside and a compact bracket that holds it to the wall. With no shade to dust round and no lamp to replace, it keeps its clean line. It runs on 230V and is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. On a practical note, choose your colour temperature when you order: 2700K sits happily with warm table lamps, while 3000K suits a room whose other lights lean slightly cooler.
