Description

The Hilow Line Nero Marquina is a linear floor lamp reduced to a single line of light: a slim rod in a brushed brass finish, just 2.3cm across, rising from a black, white-veined cylindrical base. It stands 207cm tall, and the base is 30cm high and 12cm across. The light is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 39W and gives 2714 lumens, with a CRI of 90, so colours, wood and fabrics look true under it. We sell it in two colour temperatures, 2700K or 3000K: choose the warmer 2700K for a soft evening glow or 3000K for a slightly crisper white.

This is a lamp for the living room. Its footprint is small, so it fits into a corner, beside a sofa or next to a reading chair where a broad floor lamp would crowd the space, and at 207cm tall it lifts light well up the room. Its line of light works as a quiet accent beside artwork or a bookcase, or as gentle background light for an evening in. It plugs in, so there is nothing to wire, and you can move it when the furniture moves. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, which suits a living room.

Dimming is on the cable: a dimmer sits on the lead, so you can turn the light up or down without fitting a wall dimmer. The lamp runs at 230V and is a Class II fitting. The brushed brass finish has a soft, low sheen that sits easily with dark wood, pale plaster and black or grey upholstery, while the dark veined base keeps the look grounded. Nothing is sold separately: the light source is built in and there is no bulb to add. When you order, choose 2700K or 3000K, and the lamp is ready to stand where you want it. It has a plug on its cable, and we include a UK adaptor in the box, so it is ready for a UK socket.
