Description

The Hilow is an LED ceiling light built as an open frame. Three long, straight bars run side by side, crossed by three shorter bars set at an angle, each with a black diffuser. The frame is finished in Brushed Champagne, a soft, warm metallic tone. It measures 113cm wide and 82cm high, and fixes to the ceiling on a canopy 32cm in diameter. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and a CRI of 90 keeps colours and skin tones looking natural. It comes in 2700K or 3000K: 2700K gives a warmer, softer white, while 3000K is a little crisper.

At 113cm wide, this is a light for a generous ceiling: over a long dining table, across a large living room, along a wide hallway or above a desk in a home office. It suits modern and minimal interiors where a clean, linear shape fits. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It draws 72W or 78W and gives 2356lm or 2651lm, depending on the version. The crossing bars spread the light along their length rather than from a single point.

It comes in two versions. The DALI or push dimmable version dims from a compatible DALI control or a push switch, so the light can sit low for an evening meal or rise for reading. The 24V DC version needs a remote 24V DC driver, which is not included and is sold separately; the driver converts the mains supply to the 24V DC the light runs on, and the fitting will not work without it. The light is powered from the 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician. Before ordering, measure the ceiling to be sure the full 113cm width sits comfortably in the room.
