Description

The Helia is a 100cm diameter circular suspension light built from a metal ring finished in gold leaf, with an integrated 110W 3000K LED concealed behind an opal acrylic diffuser. The LED runs the full circumference of the ring, casting light both upwards onto the ceiling and downwards into the room, with the opal acrylic softening the output into an even ambient glow.

Designed for dining areas, open-plan living rooms, hotel lobbies and large entrance halls, the Helia suits spaces with ceiling heights of 2.8m or higher where the 1m diameter ring can hang without overwhelming the room. The adjustable drop ranges from 65cm to 150cm, allowing the pendant to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or 1-1.2m above floor level in a double-height entrance depending on the ceiling height. The 110W output is high enough to provide primary lighting in a 20-25m² room without requiring additional ceiling fittings.

The gold leaf finish is applied to the metal frame by hand, creating subtle tonal variation and a warm metallic accent that catches both natural and artificial light. The opal acrylic diffuser hides the individual LED points and prevents glare, making the ring itself appear as a continuous band of light rather than a series of visible bulbs. The pendant weighs 4kg and requires a ceiling rose rated for at least 5kg load bearing. The Class 1 electrical rating means the fitting must be earthed during installation.
