The Hampton is a 4-light chandelier built around a rectangular antique nickel frame that holds four ivory linen drum shades and a central suspended shade. Each shade houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately), with the central shade sitting within the frame and three outer shades mounted on extending arms. The antique nickel finish has a brushed, slightly aged appearance that sits between polished chrome and dark bronze.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and hallways with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Hampton works where you need distributed light across a horizontal area rather than a single downward pool. The 629mm frame width suits tables from 1.6m to 2.4m long, and the adjustable drop allows the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above the table surface depending on ceiling height. The chain adjusts on installation from a minimum 737mm to a maximum 2221mm total drop.

The ivory linen drum shades diffuse the light from all four bulbs, reducing glare while maintaining enough brightness for task lighting over a dining or work surface. The rectangular frame geometry gives the chandelier a transitional character that bridges traditional and contemporary interiors, working equally well in Georgian-style dining rooms and modern open-plan kitchen-diners. What bulbs does the Hampton take?

The chandelier takes four E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for dining table lighting.

What table size does it suit?

The 629mm frame width works over dining tables from 1.6m to 2.4m long. For tables shorter than 1.6m the chandelier may feel visually heavy; for tables longer than 2.4m consider a larger fitting or two pendants in sequence.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The chain is adjusted on installation before the ceiling canopy is fixed. Once installed, changing the drop height requires removing the canopy, re-threading the chain and re-fixing — not a quick adjustment.

Is the Hampton dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you fit. LED bulbs marked as dimmable will work with standard trailing-edge dimmers. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will flicker or fail to operate correctly on a dimmer circuit.
