Halcyra Outdoor LED Ceiling Light 44W 3000-4000K - Black, 60cm

The Halcyra is a 600mm diameter outdoor LED ceiling light with an integrated 44W LED module and switchable colour temperature between 3000K warm white and 4000K neutral white. The matt black plastic housing sits 40mm proud of the ceiling and carries an IP44 rating, protecting the internal LED module from splashing water and allowing installation in covered outdoor spaces, porches, balconies, bathrooms and utility rooms.

Designed as flush-mount outdoor lighting for covered areas with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above, the Halcyra provides general illumination across porch ceilings, carport entrances, outdoor corridors and sheltered terrace areas. The low 40mm profile suits rooms and spaces where headroom is limited or where a recessed fitting cannot be installed. The 600mm diameter covers larger areas than typical 300-400mm flush fittings, reducing the need for multiple light sources in longer porch or corridor runs.

The polycarbonate diffuser distributes the LED output evenly without visible LED spotting or hotspots, while the matt black housing resists UV degradation better than painted metal in outdoor applications. The colour temperature switch allows the light to be set to 3000K for warmer residential outdoor spaces or 4000K for commercial, utility or task-focused installations. The non-dimmable LED module is rated for 30,000+ hours of operation and runs directly from 230V mains without requiring an external driver box.

Can this be used in fully exposed outdoor locations?

No. The IP44 rating protects against splashing water from any direction but is not rated for full exposure to rain, direct hose spray or submersion. The Halcyra is designed for covered outdoor spaces such as porches, canopies, carports and sheltered balconies where the fitting is protected from direct rainfall.

How is the colour temperature changed?

The Halcyra has a manual switch on the back of the fitting, accessed before or during installation. The switch allows the colour temperature to be set to either 3000K warm white or 4000K neutral white. Once set, it remains fixed at that temperature until manually changed.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED module is integrated into the fitting and cannot be replaced separately. The module is rated for 30,000+ hours of operation, equivalent to approximately 10-15 years of typical residential use. Once the LED fails, the entire fitting would need to be replaced.

What ceiling fixing is required?

The Halcyra mounts directly to a standard ceiling rose or surface-mount junction box. The 1400mm cable length allows connection to a junction box positioned away from the fitting centre if needed. The fitting weighs approximately 1.5kg and can be supported by plasterboard ceilings with appropriate fixings or directly onto solid ceilings.
