These are two handpainted stoneware cups, each holding 200ml and each decorated in its own way. One carries bold vertical stripes with a raised flower on its front; the other is covered in dots, with a flower that stands out from its side like a small handle. Both are 9.5cm across and 7.5cm tall, with a rounded, multicoloured body and a contrasting rim and interior. At 200ml they are a coffee or tea cup size rather than a mug, so they suit a morning coffee, a cup of tea or a small hot chocolate.
