Description

This is a chair made to a child's scale: the seat sits 30cm off the floor and is 30cm deep, and a gently curved back panel brings the chair to 60cm tall. The seat and back are plywood and the four legs are tubular iron, and the whole piece is blue, frame and all, so it reads as one calm, simple shape. It is 40cm long and 32cm wide, a small footprint that tucks under a low table or into the corner of a room, and at 3.81KG it is easy to lift and move between rooms.

A 30cm seat is the height for a child sitting at a low play table, so this is the chair for drawing, puzzles, building blocks and picture books in a bedroom or playroom.
